The mission and philosophy of Maha Kusala Yama Monastery Elementary School in Naung Mon is to nurture people with worldviews, respect for every religion and every ethnic group, and love for every life. They will be the one to bring peace to the world.

Establish in June 2016, it already has over 300 sramaneras and plans to take on thousands to tens of thousands of students. It is now the largest school in Kokang, well planned education resources and has nurtured many outstanding sramaneras, which has earned the praise of both the locals and the government.

Chan Master Hsin Tao was born in Myanmar and a war orphan, and he has deep compassion for those impoverished remote area children, some of which are adopted by the monastery, but others turn wanderers and even join the guerrillas. Therefore, it is the most important task in Myanmar to improve living standards and education. Chan Master Hsin Tao’s wish is gradually coming true at the remote areas of Myanmar.
