Puren Scholarship

Established in 2003, the Puren Scholarship was named after one of Chan Master Hsin Tao's Dharma names.
Puren Scholarship was designed by professional education teams to encourage good characters. Through the recommendations of schools, parents, social workers and various other channels, the scholarship aims to discover and reward outstanding students with good characters, in the hope of building a society of good will.
In 2011, evaluations went from local to nationwide. Nearly 5,000 impoverished students with good character have been awarded since its launch. The influence keeps growing.
