education as a life mission in mind, Chan Master Hsin Tao established the Institute of Enlightened Life as a way of promoting world peace, education, and the cultivation of all-round wisdom. The institute is the learning ground for devotees to care deeper about society and life and to understanding the true meaning of “when the mind is at peace, the world is at peace” and of the LJM teachings of loving kindness and compassion. Education makes people discover the beauty of life, and the core of life education is to have devotees through practices understand, respect, and love life, as well as respect for various religious cultures. It is an institute for lifelong learning.
