Master Hsin Tao teaches that although advances in material civilization undoubtedly have certain benefits, excessive emphasis on the pursuit of material wealth is harmful to body, mind, and spirit. For this reason, we need to understand ourselves; we need to take a good look at ourselves and how we are living, so that we can find a balance between the material and spiritual, a balance that brings happiness and insight into the meaning of life. This is why we decided to establish a network of International Meditation Centers.
The centers are places for rejuvenating the human spirit, recognizing one’s own spiritual nature, and experiencing peace and the power of loving kindness and compassion. The ultimate goal is to make these an integral part of our daily lives and promote love and peace throughout the world.
Having dedicated his life to teaching meditation, Master Hsin Tao is establishing a network of meditation centers around the world to promote spiritual practice and provide a good environment for meditation retreats. The aim is to transform the spiritual energy generated through meditation practice into practical social benefits. While the style of practice at the different centers will be adapted to suit each locality, the common goal is the cultivation of wisdom, compassion, and mental purity. The meditation centers will also serve as platforms for international social service.
Due to the differences in resources and culture, the centers are being built one at a time by the Global Family of Love and Peace. The results will then be recognized and emulated by other localities, making each center a medium for the power of love and peace.
Existing and planned centers are at Ling Jiou Mountain in Taiwan, Myanmar, Nepal, and Colorado in the USA. |
